Panicked: Locked Out Of My House!

It was a chilly evening when I realized with a start that I was totally locked out of my house. I had been fidgeting and hadn't bothered to take my keys inside. My phone was dead inside, so I couldn't even contact anyone for help.

The front door felt solid as a locked out of car rock, and I had no tools on hand to force it open.

Getting increasingly anxious, I scanned around for any sign that might help me get back inside.

    My heart started racing/beat wildly/skipped a beat. This was a total disaster/an absolute catastrophe/the worst possible scenario. I was totally stranded/in big trouble/in a real pickle. What could I possibly do/do now/figure out?
